Possibly: Your normal discharge changes based on where you are in your cycle. Some women will spot just before their period and it may look brown. Unless the discharge itches, burns or has an odor, i wouldn't be too concerned.

No but: You don't have to have sex to get vaginosis. That results in bacteria in the vagina from the colon in the vagina. This is the infection to which ur doctor likely refers. Limit wearing a thong if u do. It's like a wick bringing bacteria from the back to the front. No worries, your getting seen, follow your docs instructions. Gd luc.
