3/27: I don't know your age or if you are trying to get pregnant, but spotting can be from many reasons. If your periods do not get back to a normal cycle in the next month or 2 you should be seen by GYN. You may have had ovulatory type spotting and your period came just about at the right time. If continued spotting after intercourse, also needs an exam.
