Could be left shoulder aches be from deterioration or what?

Possible arthritis: "deterioration" of a shoulder would typically be a case of degenerative joint disease (aka djd) or arthritis of the shoulder joint. DJD is a chronic condition that can cause both pain and stiffness in the shoulder. Recommend consulting with an orthopaedic surgeon for evaluation with xrays and a discussion of treatment options.
