Can exfoliating help get rid of black heads?

Partly: Exfoliation can help to remove overlying dead skin which may to serve to clog pores. If a comedone extractor is used after exfoliation - that may remove black heads. It should be pressed down gently - don't glide or use excessive force. Don't pick blackheads as you may injure your skin.
