Variable.: According to fitness partner a 150-lb. Person burns around 9 calories/ minute doing sit-ups. Doing 100 sit-ups will burn about 15 to 30 calories. So i think the math would figure out to around 330 to 700 sit ups depending on gender, weight, intensity etc.

Depends!: How many sit-ups., 1 or 1000? It also depends on your weight. Here's a great tool to calculate the calories burned based on the activity, time spent and your current weight: http://www.prohealth.com/weightloss/tools/exercise/calculator1_2.cfm
