What would cause someone to have to cover up their verrucas?

Vanity or need....: Some people just don't want other people to see their warts - they are embarrassed by them. Other patients are told by their doctors to cover them because they want the topical treatment solution to be "under occlusion, " or covered for more effective treatment.
