A number of : Things but sounds like an allergic reaction, possible contact dermatitis, try Benadryl (diphenhydramine) at night and think about any new skin exposure to clothes or detergents. Idiopathic urticaria is a stress related issue generally. Surprisingly sometimes stomach acid blocker that block histamine can help. Can try topical Hydrocortisone cream?Could be fungal infection but it stays, itching intermittently.
