It doesn't: An hpv rash? Hpv in general terms doesn't cause a rash in men. It can cause bumps. I do rectal paps on my male population because of the high prevalence in the gay community here. I think you may have been misdiagnosed.

HPV doesn't rash: The only visible external skin changes with some strains of HPV are warts. The non-wart strains do not produce any skin changes visible on external skin. If you were told you have PR, it is likely PR. You could also have HPV at the same time, but it would not be responsible for the rash.
