See your Doc: The amount of bleeding seems excessive & needs evaluation. Your doc will evaluate everything from thyroid hormone imbalance to bleeding disorders & uterine abnormalities. Usually for young women, the work up is negative and the diagnosis is simply dysfunctional uterine bleeding (dub) & treatment involves ocps (oral contraceptive pills). Don't be scared, see your doc & take care.
