See expert: It is possible that you have a reaction to the piercing such as a granuloma, and your lip piercing may need to be removed. This should be determined by an expert such as a dermatologist or plastic surgeon.

Reaction: You may have an allergic reaction to the piercing, or possibly an infection. You should have the area examined. Would suggest that you see Dentist or an Oral Surgeon.
