Yes : Take your medications as prescribed. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic used for a short time to treat infections. Make sure you take it completely even if you feel better/ do not skip any doses. Common side effects are stomach upset. Report any dark urine or usual weakness/tiredness to you doctor. Keep visits with doctor to monitor vit d levels.Take medications with full glass of water. Yes: If that is the dose prescribed by your doctor, it is fine to take along with antibiotics. Although it may seem high to some, many people with extremely low vitamin d levels ( levels in the 20's, for example) are given a very high weekly dose to raise their levels quickly. Once their blood levels are normal, many can change to a once daily dose of 2000 iu.
