Yeast infection: Yeast infections (not contagious) cause high degrees of inflammation. Can occur after taking antibiotics and treated with a pill and/or cream. Other causes: bacterial vaginosis (not an std), stds-herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas; allergies to cream, soaps, condoms, spermicide, even semen; trauma, vigorous sex. You need an exam and testing for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
