HIV transmission: The risk of HIV transmission is highest with IV blood transfer (i.e.:blood product/shared needle) but as well can be transmitted sexually. Highest sexual risk is male to male or male to female (20x female to male). Lower risk is transmission with deep oral sex, especailly if the recipient has oral lesions or cuts or unknown microabrasions. Even w/o ejaculation there may be some semen spill.
