Bacterial vs Yeast: When you have greenish discoloration of the nail, you are correct in assuming you have a nail infection. As long as it does not get too severe, it should be easy to treat with topical medications and if needed a short course of oral medications. However, the greenish discoloration under the nail may take many months to clear out as the nail grows out. See your pcp to for help.
