Depends: How good is your vision pre operatively? How do you achieve that vision? The purpose of lasik is to decrease your dependence on glasses/contacts--not necessarily eliminate them. Often times the vision after lasik is comparable to glasses and contacts--that is why so many people do it. However it is not always as good as rgp or hard contacts. This is a good discussion to have with your eye dr.
