Local hospital refer: Your best bet is to call a hospital in the area that you desire and then ask to talk to patient care representative. Then ask for names of physicians on staff who have "privileges" for what you need - in your instance, someone who does gastric bypass. They cn give you names in referral and that will give you a start to work from. Make a list of qualities you desire in your doctor, then go at it!

Medical society: The local medical society likely has a website and specialty listings. The hospitals also will have a bariatric group listing and should know who is taking patients.
