Twins: Normal population rates of twins are about1-2 % with normal conception. Use if any fertility medications increases that rate. Family history of twinning only raises the rate to around 3%.

Low: Twinning does not skip generations. Most twins are fraternal twins, which would depend on if the woman ovulates more than one egg at a time. General twin rates are 2-3%.
