I'm taking zyrtec for severe case of hives. was told to take claritin (loratadine) in between if needed. i need more. can i overdose if i take a second claritin (loratadine)?

You can: Ideally i would recommend Allegra 180mg in the morning and zyrtec 10mg at night and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) in between for breakthrough hives. Take 2 clartin a day is ok, but it may not be as effective as the other 2.
