Flu remnant: He is probably over the flu the cough may persist for 7-10 days. It could in fact be caused by the running nose in which case saline nse drops would be in order a vaporizer would also be helpful and perhaps vapo rub applied to his chest at night. Since he is only four years old why the rush to get him back to school?
