What causes a burning sensation while passing gas? i've had this on and off. some stomach aches while this is going on but it's also on and off.

See a GI doctor: Inflammation at the distal colon, the rectum or anus can produce discomfort when passing gas. Do not know whether or not the stomach aches are related, but the gastroenterologist will be quite able to work this out. Hope you are better soon.
