A member asked:

How much radiation are you exposed to from dental paranormic xrays?

Not much: The radiation you receive these days from a panoramic x ray or a full mouth of individual xrays is very little. Especially if the x rays are digital. You get more radiation sitting in an airplane going across the us than from these x rays.

Very little: With new technology of digital radiography (x-ray) the patient exposure from a single image can be 4x less exposure than with film- based images. A digital panoramic which can now take a full mouth image in about 10 seconds has extremely low and precise beam exposure.
