Several options: Often we can use prisms, botox, eye muscle surgery, or exercises.

Depends: In adults, double vision occurs from a breakdown of the coordination between the eyes. If this is due to a loss of the brain coordination centers work, then prisms can be helpful. If it is due to muscle paralysis, then prisms usually do not work, but some forms of surgery may help. In extreme cases, patching may be the only option. Check with your ophthalmologist for visual doubling.
