B Vitamins: For my patients I have had some success adding a b complex vitamin to the daily supplement. There is a prescription called metanyx that claims to be better then over the counter vitamins. You also need to have a good diet and to take a good multiple vitamin daily.

Get seen ASAP: Patients with diabetes are particularly susceptible to foot infection as they often have a diminished healing ability. Burns can be especially problematic as they can easily become infected if not treated appropriately. Have you burn evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment to prevent possible complication.

See your podiatrist.: Any time a diabetic has a wound on their foot they should see a wound care specialist or their podiatrist. Diabetic feet don't heal as quickly or as well as non-diabetic feet, and you have to be very careful a secondary infection does not complicate matters.
