What fluid: Is it water or infection you are referring? If just water you can try the mack's ear dryer or some peroxide and tilt your head to try to get the liquid out. If infection, try white vinegar or dilute acetic acid.

Liquid in the ear: Try to shake it out leaning the head with the liquid ear towards the ground, or sleeping over that side.
