A member asked:

I'm having terrible allergy on smells (sometimes causing asmathic attacks) how can i reduce it or get rid of it? (any smell , even on good ones)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Controller drug: It is not unusual for patients with asthma to be triggered by odors, even those which are not bad smelling. The best way to control these symptoms is to be on an appropriate controller medication such as an inhaled steroid. If symptoms occur, using a bronchodilator in a rescue inhaler will help to relieve the cough an/or wheeze caused by the exposure.
