I'm not exactly : Sure if it's a bruise or, less likely, infection. That area can hold fluid, i'll bet he pulled blood with the suction into the area. If fever or getting larger or more painful go in. You may wanna consider that anyway, i could be wrong. Try 2 aleve (naproxen) 2x per day for pain, not w/ other NSAID pain relievers, keep clean 2x per day with soap and water. It's likely self limited, don't hesitate 2 c doc.
