"Doorway to heaven": Repeated c/sections can cause severe adhesions and make for difficult surgery. However, # 5 is a necessary surgery in the face of a more serious elevated blood pressure pregnancy problem which can cause seizures and death. So, the c/s can be a"doorway to a happy heaven"(a live child)), and avoids the heaven of biblical porportions.

Yes: When it is determined that a c-section is the preferred way to deliver a baby, the blood pressure can be controlled prior to and during surgery in order to minimize risks to the mother. An internist cane assess and recommend management prior to surgery. The anesthesiologist can also manage the patient during the operation. If the high blood pressure is preclampsia, the c-section is the tx.
