No: Your re is right - at 9 weeks the pregnancy will be "set" for the most part and the metformin is no longer needed. In fact, staying on the metformin after 9 weeks may not be good for the baby, so stop as instructed. Having said that, a common time to "lose" a pregnancy is around 10-12 weeks. If you do, it is not because you stopped the metformin. Losses between 10-13 wks happen w/o pcos too.
