Varies: It helps to know more about your symptoms and history. If you have had a cesarean delivery it is quite common to have periods that seem to linger on. If you are experiencing the spotting and cramping from 7 to 21 days after your last period started and 14 days before your next period, then the spotting is likely due to ovulation.

Maybe: You weren't quite finished. If it gets better, no worries, could be several things like infection, irregular bleeding from irregular ovulation. It can be hard to say but it may be u just weren't quite done.
