Possible!: There are many lung issues that can resemble pleurisy that can be symptomatically be relieved with prednisone!

Possible: With pleurisy we can't always hear or see something. But in that situation at least be sure it is not something else causing the problem. When that occurs you can suggest it on clinical findings but it could be something else. This falls in the area of chest wall pain and there can be localized chest wall musculoskeletal pain site such as costochondritis.
