NOW: If you took antibiotics 4 days ago you should not still be in pain from the chlamydia infection unless you have PID. Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) can be a complication of chlamydia, it occurs when the germs in the vagina infect the uterus, fallopian tubes, and/or ovaries. Once this occurs antibiotics by mouth usually is not enough to get rid of the infection. PID can cause serious problems.
