Could be: Women do skip periods, especially women young in their menstrural lives. One can have an immature hormonal axis and skip periods, not ovulate and be concerned. If you are not pregnant, you do not have to do anything about this. If you wish to have periods, you may have to be cycled on oral contraceptive pills or be given a progestin agent to induce your period. Concerned? See pcp/gyn.

Maybe: It is not unusual to have irregular periods especially is you are very physically active, are stressed or have recently lost alot of weight as long as you are absolutely certain that you are not pregnant. If you are concerned, see your physician.
