Chest congestion : Chest congestion after a cold equals extra fluid / mucus in your airways. Drink plenty of fluids, force cough, and maybe add guaifenesin. If you have any other lung disease, such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, go see your primary care provider. If you have any shortness of breath, go see a doctor right away.
