No: Vicodin is the brand name for hydrocodone and Acetaminophen (tylenol). It comes either in regular or extra strength (es). Regular strength contains 500 mg of acetaminophen, and extra strength contains 750 mg of acetaminophen. Too much Acetaminophen can cause liver failure. If the medication isn't working, call your doctor; he can change you to a stronger medication or add something else for pain.
