Does wht cane float?: If you have terrible uncorrected vision, you might need to just for safety reasons. If you can avoid swimming with your contacts, that would be better to reduce risk of loss, chemical absorption, bacterial contamination and the like. If you are an avid swimmer, ask your eye doc about prescription goggles--if not, you can also wear goggles over your eyes with contacts in to reduce risks above.
