Does anyone have any good remedies for very resistant lice?

Manual labor: Lice have been becoming very resistant lately to normal treatments, like rid and nix (permethrin). Even to prescription lindane. Some of the newer Permethrin free remedies like lice md and ovid offer alternatives that will sometimes work. However, nothing helps more than spending the hours with the nit loosening gel and that little comb getting out every nit and louse you can find, then repeating it daily.

Tx environment too: Wash clothing or linens in hot water. Soak personal items like combs or brushes in hot water for at least 10 minutes (or throw them out if this is an option). Vacuum floors, carpets, mattresses, upholstered furniture & your vehicles.
