A member asked:

I have had recurring vaginal yeast infections. diflucan (fluconazole) and terzol work for a week or so but infection comes back. nothing seems to help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Are you diabetic?: See your doctor to check for problems that can predispose to yeast infections;e.g., immune problems, diabetes, heavy or repeated use of broad spectrum antibiotics. Your doctor can run screening lab tests to check on why you have chronic yeast infections.
