I had a pap test done on monday today being tuesday i now have a hard lump on the inside of my vagina it is painful to sit. is it from the pap?

Most likely no: Pap smear is an examination of the cervix and does include examination of the vagina and ovaries using a bimanual exam. I doubt that it would cause injury of the vaginal canal. I suggest going back to the doctor who performed it for a quick exam to make sure everything is ok.
