What are your goals?: The effect of birth control is now out of your system. You will need to be seen by your doctor to discuss your irregular menstrual cycle. My question would be what are your goals? Are you wanting to get pregnant or are you wanting to have regular cycle. The treatment would depend on the answer.

Possibilities...: If your periods were irregular before getting on the pills, they will usu. Revert to being irregular. If not: could be due to changes in weight, an ovarian cyst, pregnancy, thyroid problem, new medications. Needs to be investigated with some lab testing and probably a sonogram.
