Probably not: Varicocele typically will cause a dull or aching pain in the scrotum that may radiate up into the groin or lower abdomen. Rarely, it may also be felt down the thigh. It is not typical to feel pain from varicocele in the anus or perineum. You may have strained a muscle. If the pain persists, you may want to see your doctor.
