Bad thermometer: Your low temp may be a faulty thermometer. If you have been ill for a few weeks (especially now since it is flu season) you should be seen by your doctor.

Low temp: Oral temps are normally 1.32f lower & may be falsely even lower for many reasons. Such as recent ingestion of a cool or cold drink, mouth breathing, hyperventilation, & inadequate measurement time (you need up to several minutes when using a mercury thermometers), tympanic measurements are far less accurate. Rectal temps are the most accurate temps. Temps are lowest in the morning and highest @ pm.
