A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not uncommon: The average RSV patient will often have wheezy URI's for the balance of their first year due to residual effects of the virus. When or if their breathing pattern reduces their activities of daily living, feeding or drinking they need to be assessed by their doc. Medications we use for asthma can sometime help them while they heal & sometimes they will develop a secondary bronchitis or pneumonia.
