Question is loss : While you were on antibiotics, the oc may have been rendered less effective, as you know. Like not taking oc at all. The antibiotic effect will most likely last 10-14 days. Therefore, you need back up contraception for the remainder of this cycle, assuming you don't get another course of antibiotics.
