Anything scented: Scented products are more likely to irritate the sensitive baby skin and cause a rash. Most babies do not need any skin products. As your doctor for recommendation if you feel your child's skin needs products.

Anything too scented: Generally, when it comes to baby products, less is more. Though it is nice for a baby to smell good, babies tend to have very sensitive skin. Therefore, it is not uncommon for babies to develop rashes when using scented products (even if they are marketed for babies!). Sometimes plain old vasoline works the best for dry skin in babies over fancy scented lotions.
