If and when they ask: Unless you feel t is necessary to discuss it with him/her. In which case it is best to just them whether or not they would like to have a talk about masturbation. He/she will either welcome the discussion or else feel too embarassed. Please avoid creating a guilt trip if and when you do talk about it. Please remember that masturbation is perfectly normal for any teenager and is safe sex.
