Hard stools: If you are constipated or have hard stools, this can cause anal bleeds. First try to increase your fluid and fiber intake to reduce constipation and soften stools. If you are still bleeding and having pain, get examined by a physician for hemorrhoids and possible treatment. Sometimes in young people, anal tears may be a sign of inflammatory disease so this should not be ignored.

Yes, see doctor: Physically, it's possible that you have hemorrhoids or a fissure. Yes, you should see a physician about the rectal bleeding. Emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, you've also had a trauma -- and i don't know whether you have received help with this. Please tell your doctor about this, and ask for a referral to a good therapist skilled in working with young women with such histories. Be well.

Sorry about ur rape: There can be many causes to rectal bleeding including tears, hemorrhoid etc. See your doctor to find out what may be causing your bleeding. It will also be nice to seek counseling to help you deal with the rape especially if that has not yet been addressed.
