The ability to: Protrude ones tongue is a natural or normal phenomenon and doesn't indicate anything is wrong. The tongue is a muscle and can vary in thickness and length. Some people are able to protrude their tongues more than others which some are unablegto protrude at all (tongue-tied) due to the lingual frenum attachment placement which can be surgically corrected.
