What is causing my feet to not grow?

Age and genetics: Feet stop growing for men and women usually in their early to late teens. Sometimes feet can grow into the early 20's, but this is rare. Foot growth is related to the openness of the growth plates of the long bones in the feet i.E the metatarsals. If the growth plates stay open, then growth can occur. If the plates close, growth of the foot stops. A foot x ray can verify this.

Growth plates: As an adult, your growth plates are closed; thus, further growth is not possible. Regards, Dr. Latva
