It varies: After sexual abuse, it is not uncommon to experience psychological problems, such as depression, problems with intimacy and self esteem, trust issues, post traumatic stress disorder or anxiety. These can affect relationships, your general mood, your sleep, and your general functioning. Counseling can be very helpful to move past the painful memories. May you have a happier future.
