Shoting flies: If you are feeling ill, you may want to delay your influenza vaccination a few days. That said, we routinely immunize hospitalized patients. If you had influenza recently, the vaccine may be more painful afterwards than usual, but (as it covers multiple strains) you still will want the vaccine.
